Nurturing Success : Strengthening Bond between Parent & Child to boost Child Well – Being

A collaboration between parents and students plays a critical role in building a successful future for children. Trust in a child, positive conversation, timely guidance and motivation create miracles.

This emotional reinforcement makes children foster a sense of self-worth.

Emotional support, trust of parents is a critical investment in a child’s well-being. Parents play a crucial role in the development of their child’s individuality. By actively listening, validating feelings, and providing encouragement, parents help their children build a strong foundation for resilience and self-confidence.

Regular interaction with parents brings good behavioural changes in a child. Children begin to recognize, express and regulate their emotions. Even they start to explore the world around them due to emotional security.

Sitender Sehrawat, Social Entrepreneur explains, “A lack of focus on children’s emotional and social well-being can lead to flawed perceptions about themselves and the world. Children should be taught that emotions like stress, anxiety, fear, and courage are natural mechanisms to help them navigate life. Emotional development, just like academics, should be ongoing and integrated into their learning.”

  • Resilience in the face of challenges:

Life is like a roller coaster, full of unexpected ups and downs. Parents should teach children to learn coping strategies, offering comfort during tough times, and bouncing back from disappointments. Parents should encourage their children to face adverse situations patiently. They reinforce the message that ultimate aim is not just to win but failure is part of learning. To accept failure strongly and learn from it for future success is real learning.
