It is at this pivotal juncture wherein the role of an educator is impactful, assuring lifelong support and motivational care. The educators in their true spirit challenge the unchallenged and inspire the uninspired facets of childhood and adulthood tapestry. Modern day educators play a transformative role in the lives of students, influencing them in several aspects of their lives and shaping their success stories.
Purpose Redefined
Metaphorically speaking, educators are the ‘Oxygen’ to the entire learning eco system. They infuse life into the curious hearts of the younger generation and burn themselves as candles to provide shining meadows of promising future for the children. The role of educators goes much beyond teaching. They are the first venerable ‘Mentors or Guru’ for the students to handhold them and give life-lessons which are much wider in their perspectives and scope. The teachings go far beyond subject knowledge or expertise as it finally culminates into shaping one’s life and deep-seated character building. Educators are providers, act as an incessant source of value system education to the young minds and make them abreast with impactful virtues like empathy, integrity, compassion and many more.
Quite notably, the role of an educator during these unpredictable times of uncontrollable and unctuous bombardment of social media interactions, calls for a systematic approach to sensitive interventions for personal and social good. This revived approach of better understanding of a student's mental and emotional health, demands an enhanced participation of the educators community in tandem with the student community. As educators, we must redefine our purpose to include compassionate approaches to assess future goals and encourage students to participate in sharing their experiences and embracing new ways of experiential and humanitarian learnings.

The Triad Education Paradigm of educational development engages combined participation of the educators, students and parents’ communities for a healthy and progressive learning environment for students. The mantle of enlightenment rests largely upon the broad shoulders of educators. They successfully synergise the mind and heart and bring out the true essence of a student’s personality in its most emphatic form. It’s not the four-walled classroom teaching that a true educator engages in, instead he or she encompasses much bigger lessons of ‘Inter-Personal Development’ and ‘Emotional-Anchoring’ for the younger generation.
Building Confidence
Students are unique individuals with multifarious needs. However, the tenets of teamwork, camaraderie and personal growth serve as intrinsic markers for the greatest of educators. Educators are ‘Creators’- creators of mind-set and lifelong impressionable lessons in a young one’s psyche. They provide mammoth encouragement to children to excel in life, and face the weather blizzards of life with aplomb. One fine morning in our school assembly, one of our dear students completely forgot her lines when she came on stage. We helped kick-start the assembly modalities, giving her enough time to recollect her thoughts and composure. The rest is history as today she stands tall as one of the finest orators of our institution. The hallmark of this educator-pupil relationship is indeed the churning of confidence and making beautiful art pieces from every child, as skillfully as sculptors do. Educators are lifelong mentors shaping the future of young minds.
