In the month of July, I had the opportunity to be part of some of the most prestigious and acclaimed film festivals held in Busan, South Korea. I led a Jury for international films at the Busan International Kids & Youth (BIKY) film festival held every year in Busan. BIKY is a 3-decade old festival and a prominent feature among the world's film festival circuit. Every year some of the best films made for children are featured in the festival, and it is a great opportunity to watch the best of films and interact with filmmakers from across the world. The festival in 2023 was happening in a physical format after a long covid break, it was amazing the see the energy and excitement of both the student audience and the film fraternity. Film festivals are an amazing space of learning for the students
