Mentor Conclave 2014 focused on helping school leaders in fulfilling the expectations of their stakeholders through effective school leadership. The day was well spent in receiving supportive, personalised and relevant learning for each participant. The conclave threw light on positive practises to draw inspiration from and to propel the schools into newer frontiers.

Breaking away from traditional formats, Mentor Conclave 2014 intended to be more experiential with focus on debate and discussion. All registered participants received the key points of all sessions a day before the conclave, this enabled them to come prepared with questions, concerns and experiences to enable meaningful learning. Involvement and interaction, apart from expertise and energy was what drove Mentor Conclave 2014!

Conclave Sessions:

WHAT’S WORKING IN SCHOOLS

Based on EduMedia (now LXL Ideas) Research on the practises that are working well with schools in India, this session laid down the scope to reconnoiter every day school as seen by all stakeholders. The format of the session was an interactive presentation followed by audience perspectives.

INTERNATIONAL PERSPECTIVES ON SCHOOLS OF THE FUTURE

Highlighting the changing scenarios and trends in education across the world this session brought fore the cutting edge innovations in schools. Experiments and technology advancements in education was presented from a scenario that is relevant to Indian schools.

REAL ISSUES AND REAL SOLUTIONS

An open and democratic session to make two ends meet – Common Concerns Vs Practical Remedies. The audience split themselves into smaller groups of similar interests to bring out varied solutions to real world problems faced by schools.

Focused, topical interactions with distinguished educators whose varied experiences lent depth and dimension to School Leadership.
