Mentor Conclave 2012

Mentor Conclave 2012

THEME: Questioning and Co-creating Education

DATE: November 16 to 18, 2012

VENUE: J.N. Tata Auditorium, Bangalore

The MENTOR Conclave 2012 strived to provide a multinational platform for eminent educators, practitioners and researchers from across the globe to come together and share with the Edutopia their experiences, knowledge, innovations and the latest trends in education. It aimed at providing relevant questions for all participants to work with to co-create quality education.

The participants got a chance to interact with the speakers through their presentations, panel discussions, workshops and research exhibitions. We, at Mentor Magazine believe that it is not only the speakers but even the participants who have some valuable experience and learning which they might want to share with the Edutopia. In keeping with this thought, the conclave also feature a pioneering learning concept, titled Audience Marketplace for all our participants who were interested in sharing their experiences with the rest of the educational guild. This Audience Marketplace enabled a meaningful co-creation in education.

In addition to the invited speakers, the conclave will witnessed a host of educators and practitioners present their research/experience papers shortlisted from our “Call for Paper” campaign. Over 100 research and experience papers were received and about 10 authors got an opportunity to share their work. The most meaningful paper submissions was featured in the first edition of Mentor Journal that aims to set a benchmark among educational research publications.
